Most of the time we don’t think about it, but what makes a difference to long-term hair removal results is skincare.
The more nourished and exfoliated your skin, the longer the “smooth skin” effect lasts after hair removal. Let’s discover together what is essential in Exfoliation.
Why is important to exfoliate skin?
Exfoliating our skin once a month (approximately every 28 days), along with cleansing, helps stimulate collagen production, renewing the appearance of the skin on the face and body, providing increased hydration, and helping to absorb creams and lotions.
When is it better to exfoliate skin?
To avoid adverse skin reactions, we recommend you exfoliate your skin 3 to 4 days before waxing and not on the same day. A good exfoliation brings to the surface those hairs prone to in-growth or simply still in the early stages of growth.
What do I do after scrubbing?
Cleansing, exfoliating, and moisturizing are the pillars of beauty to help your skin feel better and be regenerated. After exfoliating, use a water-based lotion to keep the skin hydrated and smooth; this will prepare it for professional waxing.
